Role Overview:

As a Business Operation Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, handling everything from managing operations, tender/ bid processes to oversee financial aspects and keep our operations functions running smoothly. What You’ll Do:

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee and manage daily IT operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all business functions.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and service quality.
  • Ensure our office systems and processes run smoothly and address any issues that come up.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather the necessary information and documentation for the submission of tenders
  • Tender and Bid Management:
  • Take the lead in preparing, submitting, and managing tenders and bids.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure all bids meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Develop strategies to make our bids stand out and track their progress.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of tenders and bids.
  • Develop and submit compelling tender responses, ensuring that deadlines and project requirements are met.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning related to tenders and projects.
  • Keep an eye on financial performance, preparing reports to help guide decisions.
  • Offer insights and cost estimates to support our bids and tenders.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Look for ways to improve our tender management processes and overall operations.
  • Share ideas for best practices in bid management and financial analysis.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the point of contact between our company and clients, vendors, and other external partners.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication to help drive successful project outcomes.

 

What We’re looking for:

  • Experience in operational management, tender and bid management, financial analysis, and ideally in an IT or technology-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for accuracy in both document preparation and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with bid management software.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams and external partners.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT Management, Operations or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in managing IT services Operations, tenders, IT bids, finances etc.
  • Required candidates with strong knowledge in IT Operations
  • Knowledge: A good grasp of IT service industry standards and practices.
