We are looking for an experienced PHP & WordPress WooCommerce Developer with strong expertise in building and customizing E-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in WooCommerce product customization, payment gateway integration, and end-to-end E-commerce functionality development. The role requires strong backend and frontend skills, along with the ability to work closely with designers and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance E-commerce websites using PHP & WordPress WooCommerce.
  • Customize WooCommerce products, product pages, checkout flow, cart, and order management as per business requirements.
  • Implement and customize payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Cashfree, etc.).
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, especially for E-commerce use cases.
  • Handle E-commerce features such as product variations, pricing rules, discounts, coupons, shipping, tax, and inventory management.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and manage backend data flow for E-commerce operations.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, security, and scalability for high-traffic E-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap (React.js is a plus).
  • Work with databases such as MySQL (PostgreSQL or MongoDB is an added advantage).
  • Use Git/GitHub for version control and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and debug E-commerce, payment, and checkout-related issues.
  • Support deployment activities and CI/CD pipelines (cloud experience is an advantage).

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in PHP & WordPress WooCommerce development.
  • Strong experience in building and customizing E-commerce websites.
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce product customization and payment gateway integration.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, Ajax, and backend configuration.
  • Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
  • Experience working with MySQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
